Pics and updates

Tory dyed her hair. I did it for her, which was a first - and I was so relieved when it turned out good. The above picture was taken on our way out the door to the mall - they are all laughing at Stephen who is doing something funny to make Mr. Preshy laugh.

Shelly and I have started a health push, using a very helpful web site that lets you track your nutrition, water, calories, exercise, etc.. and tells you if you aren't getting enough of something. We're starting to do daily exercise again, after the Christmas craziness and are feeling better for it.

Mr. Preshy is almost sitting up and has started vocalizing a whole lot when he wants something. He is still a very well behaved baby. And he's every mother's dream - he LOVES shopping! He is as good as gold in a stroller or a baby carrier while shopping. I've never tried him for more than about 1 1/2 hours, but he behaves so well!

Bub is currently into learning about the human body (he loves "Bill Nye the Science Guy".), fires (he and Daddy build a fire almost every evening in our yard), and airplanes, as well as building machines with his bristle blocks.

I have many witty things to say, but can't remember any of them now. Will continue this post tomorrow, possibly. Oyasuminasai.

Anagram Silliness

It's been a long day, the boys are finally asleep and I'm sitting here, relishing the peace. No children scratching the mole on my arm, kicking me, biting me, climbing on me, peeing on me, eating off me, etc.. and so forth... Don't get me wrong, I love my rascals, but sometimes it is just lovely to sit still and have a moment of peace and quiet.

I found an interesting site called wordsmith.org and searched for anagrams of the names of members of my family. I used their full names... Some were rather funny:

Stephen: A Repairman Helves Lust
Chris: A Clenched Worrier Throws Up
Shelly: A Lively Armchair Elf
Amber: A Helm Liver Tribe Bazaar
Mom (using her current married name): My Ninja Lunge
Dad: Music Joust Award
Adrianne: A Radical Rewired Noun or A Nuder Winier Carload
Becca: A Mercury Bread Cow
Suzy: Drama Sass Unions
Jeff: Fed Serf Joys
Abi: A Ruralised Big Woo

They say that anagrams can have "hidden meanings" but I really couldn't find any meanings in any of these - they were pure foolishness. If your name isn't here, it's because the clock struck 12:00 and I became a pumpkin.
Good night.

Of noses...

Enjoying his Christmas present from Gogee.

Story time!

***
Mom (while wiping Bub's runny nose): Son, can you blow your nose?
Bub: No, I'm just a boy still.
Mom: When will you learn to blow your own nose?
Bub: In half an hour.
